We are performing at Z-Arts Centre in Hulme in a small theatre space with an audience capacity of around 20 people. We wanted this space because of the chance that it gives us to connect with an audience and the intimacy that this gives to the performance, as well as the space being entirely blacked-out and with an in-built cinema style screen which aids the visuals of the piece. The arts centre also has a lot of community involvement, working with those who come from difficult backgrounds as well as those with learning difficulties and mental illnesses, encouraging them to express themselves through theatre and art. We thought that this would be a fitting venue to support and be involved with for our piece, which explores the way that Post Traumatic Stress Disorder can effect young people. We are very excited to be performing in such a brilliant space!
